Our Roofing Team provide fascia and soffit repairs and also upgrade to the new upvc fascias and soffits. Vented soffits can be an asset in helping prevent condensation forming in the roof space.

The new systems help prevent the birds from entering the roofspace and causing damage.

We provide a gutter repair service and new upgrades.  We also carry out gutter cleaning services.  We would recommend updating the guttering at the same time as the fascias and soffits.  Gutters perform an important part of the roofing system.  When the rain water falls onto the roof it flows into the gutters and is diverted into the downpipes and into the drains; a simple but effective system.  Unfortunately, dirt, debris, leaves, nesting materials and other things may also collect in the gutters, and can cause a blockage.  Water will find a way of getting through so if the gutter is blocked at any point the water will escape, this can cause dampness, brickwork can become damaged and in dire circumstances loosen the bricks or the foundation of the building could become a problem.  By having the gutters checked and cleaned at least once a year all major problems can be avoided.  Call us for advice or information.

    About Tarmacadam

     

    The material of tarmacadam consists of tar and aggregate (broken stones). Tarmac comes in the traditional colours of Black or Red.  This bitumous material can be laid on almost any surface with the right preparation. When compressed the aggregate is held together by the tar giving the look and finish of a long lasting and highly durable tarmacadam surface.

    Tarmacadam is well renown for road surfacing and is extremely durable.
